Photos were captured using a Canon SX70HS, a simple point-and-shoot camera with an impressive optical zoom range. Requirements for these shots were to capture 1x closeup, and 1x "approach" shot (meaning the angle through which it would naturally be viewed as an intended viewer). Within those constraints, however, was quite a bit of room for flexibility.
A great majority of CCO's billboards are located in Downtown Boston and Dorchester. Some are as far north as New Hampshire and as far south as Providence, RI. The heavy portion of my days involved planning and scheduling routes to pick up and shoot.Â
